We take pride in our work and if we’re not happy with something it doesn’t get dispatched. It’s our way of making sure we only provide quality products to our customers.

Trainers have always been a passion of mine, but I would say I'm 90% adidas. My mother always said I had a shoe problem growing up! In 2018, I started to experiment with customising my own trainers as a hobby. I spent hours watching online tutorials, learning new skills and working on designs. When I started sharing my customs on social media things really changed for me. The reaction was phenomenal and I was soon customising Adidas’ for friends and family. Work requests continued to grow, and in 2020, I was able to make customising trainers my full-time job.
I love creating customs for people, especially bespoke work. The best thing is when someone has quite a broad idea or loose concept with lots of room for creativity. I get to experiment with different ideas and designs until I come up with something that I think they’ll love. It’s the best feeling getting to work so creatively and to know that you’re providing people with something really personal to them.

With the new lads coming on board we can take on much more monthly custom work and it’s been really good having others in the studio to run over ideas with.

Assistant

I’d just finished a 2-year college course when I joined Dasslers Craft in the summer of 2020. Being around Elliot all the time it’s hard to ignore his enthusiasm for Adidas’. When I started there were a few different trainers I liked. But Elliot is pretty much all-Adidas, all of the time, and it’s hard not to get a bit caught up in that. Especially when you’re working so closely on them all the time. Learning all the different techniques involved in customisation makes you realise just how much work goes into every pair. I enjoy the detail stuff the most – getting really stuck into the finer customisations and seeing the designs take shape.
